After listening to Tomomi's story, I learned many new things and felt inspired by her ideas and experience.
Tomomi said, "Not only to learn English but also as a tool to improve communication with people." I thought it was a very good idea. I also want to enjoy learning English, and I want to be able to communicate with many people like Tomomi.
I was surprised that common sense can change by going abroad. I learned that there are many people in the world and many different values.
What impressed me the most was that Niigata is famous for Furumachi. I didn't know that! I was surprised that geisha are also famous in Niigata!! I thought geisha were only in Kyoto, so this was really interesting.
I want to keep in mind these four things to get the IKIGAI!! I want to keep in mind "what I love, what I am good at, what I can be paid for, and what the world needs". If I can value them, I think I can live a happy and good life.
It was a lot of fun to listen to Tomomi's story!
