 Introduction

I chose the recipe “Japanese Dry Curry” by Namiko Hirasawa Chen. This recipe is for dinner. The recipe is from a website called Just One Cookbook. This website introduces Japanese recipes. I chose it because my friend ate dry curry the other day, and it looked so good. I also like Japanese-style curry, so I wanted to try making it.

 My Cooking Experience

I could find most of the ingredients easily. But I forgot to buy mirin, so I used cooking sake and sugar instead. It worked well, and the taste was good. The recipe was easy because I just cut the vegetables and mixed everything. However, the simmering time felt a little long. Still, I didn’t need any special tools, so it was good for cooking at home. While cooking, my kitchen smelled very nice, and I felt happy and excited to eat it.

I cooked the dish in the evening and enjoyed it by myself. It was very tasty and made me feel happy. The spices were just right—not too strong and not too weak. I ate it with rice, and I felt full and satisfied. I think this dish is perfect for a simple yet special dinner, even when you’re cooking alone.

Good and Bad Points of the Recipe
The recipe was very easy to follow. There were many pictures that showed how to cut the vegetables. That helped a lot. I also liked that I could change the amount of the recipe for 1 to 20 people. I could also choose US or metric units. That was useful.

One small problem is the raisins. Some people may not like them. I think the recipe is still good even without them. The taste was really great. It had more spices and seasonings than normal curry. So it felt like a special dish. If I make it again, I want to try adding different vegetables like zucchini.

 Review of the Article
The article was easy to read. There was also a video, and I could print the recipe. I think even people who are not good at cooking can make this dish. The blog was easy to understand and very helpful. I liked the friendly tone and clear layout of the page. It made me feel more confident to try the recipe.

 Conclusion
I really liked this dry curry. It was simple but very tasty. I’d give it five stars—it was that good! I want to make it again. I also want to try other recipes from Just One Cookbook. This project helped me learn how good photos and clear writing make a recipe easy to follow. I also learned that writing about food is not only about cooking, but also about sharing ideas and feelings. That was fun!
